Why Pitt Business?

CliftonStrengths Certified Business School

Pitt Business Strengths-Based Advising

Pitt Business is certified by Gallup as a strengths-based business school, meaning we offer comprehensive support to help you:

  • Discover what you naturally do best
  • Apply your talents and abilities to reach your goals
  • Receive guidance based from the same academic advisor from orientation through graduation

The CliftonStrengths assessment is used by 90 percent of Fortune 500 companies. It helps you to understand and articulate the talents you have, which can help guide your academic and career path. Most of all, it is a powerful tool of self-reflection.

How It Works

You will complete your CliftonStrengths assessment in your first semester. The assessment will provide your Top 5 Talent Themes. These themes are unique to you, as the chances of another student having the same Top 5 in the same order are 1 in 33 million.

From this information, you will develop an academic plan and career path designed to maximize your potential.
