Favorite TV show: Friends

Favorite place on campus: The Cathedral of Learning is my favorite place. It feels like you are entering into an entirely different world and I love all of the decorations for the holidays.  Therapy Dog Tuesday is also a great perk!

Favorite Vacation Place: Martha's Vineyard-the beaches are gorgeous and the towns are so much fun to explore.

Favorite part about Pitt: The school spirit on campus. Everyone is always saying Hail to Pitt and going to sporting events is so much fun.  Everyone has a lot of pride for Pitt!

I chose to come to Pitt because I wanted a big school in a city that still felt like a campus.  Pitt has the best of both worlds. Downtown and all of the other neighborhoods are so accessible, especially being able to ride the Port Authority busses fare-free with my Pitt i.d.  But Oakland is also our campus.  I truly feel at home here in Pittsburgh.  Having access to so many things in Pittsburgh has enriched my college experience because I am able to job shadow and utilize the business community downtown while also visiting museums and cultural events.  Pitt Business truly is the perfect fit and I am grateful for all that I have learnt and experienced throughout my college career.

Favorite TV show: Gilmore Girls

Something on your bucket list: Travel to all seven continents

Favorite place to eat on campus: Mad Mex

Going into college, I knew I wanted a city school, the opportunity to study entrepreneurship and the opportunity to study abroad multiple times. While I found a few schools that satisfied those requirements, Pitt Business stood out with its variety of international opportunities and its ability to shape the Pitt Business program around your personal interests and passions. I was also immediately drawn to the community feel to the city, the University, and the College of Business Administration. I have developed relationships with students and mentorships with faculty through courses and student organizations that have added such incredible value to my Pitt Business experience. Pitt has become a home away from home for me, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

Coming to the University of Pittsburgh as a transfer student, I didn’t know what to expect.   However, the moment I walked into Sennott Square on the first day of classes, I immediately felt at home - and that feeling has stuck with me since.  Between the innumerable opportunities Pitt Business has to offer and sense of community it provides, I have thrived and grown professionally and academically in ways I couldn’t have imagined before!  I am so thankful for the opportunities Pitt Business has given me!

Favorite part about Pitt: The people.  I have made some great friends over the years and there are still so many opportunities to continually meet new people.

I have wanted to attend Pitt since I was a little girl.  My uncle works at the Soldiers and Sailors Museum and every time I came to visit I just fell more in love.  I think what drew me in was the unique feel of campus.  Pitt is located right outside downtown and as a result it has a smaller campus feel while offering all the bonuses of a city school.  In addition, I knew Pitt would make me work hard and push me to become the best version of myself.

Pitt Business is more than just the business school at the University of Pittsburgh.  The faculty truly cares about your success.  Whether it’s a resume review, interview prep, career advice, or you just want to talk, Pitt Business has someone to help!

Favorite Thing about Pitt: The compassion and friendliness of the student body makes this truly feel like your home away from home.

One of the many reasons I love Pitt Business is because it helps make a big city still have a close-knit community feel. The faculty works directly with you so you’re more than just a face in their lectures. The students you meet in your classes become some of your best friends. The opportunities provided to me through Pitt Business are invaluable - from a yearlong internship with one of my professors, to two separate study abroad programs taking me to four different countries. The experiences I’ve had here at Pitt are ones that will stay with me for the rest of my life, and I am forever grateful.
